Llaves y Candados for March 29, '08

Llaves y Candados
For the show that aired on March 29, '08

Sorry I didn't review anything last week, I was feeling a little under the weather, more like death warmed over, but feel a lot better this week.

Euforia             vs                 Virtual X

1st Fall:  The action picked up with these two going at it outside then inside the ring. X is crotched on the post by one of Euforia's friends. Euforia was not the CMLL Euforia. Copetes Salazar was outside the ring acting as a friend of Euforia. Euforia hits a swanton bomb from the top and pins X.

2nd Fall:  Only lasted like 10 seconds. X school boys and pins Euforia, the rudo ref slow counts, but he does count 3 eventually.

3rd Fall:  The rudo ref was helping Euforia. X was trying to unmask Euforia but the rudo ref stops him. X and Euforia wind up wearing each others masks and wind up getting beaten on by their own friends at ringside. They find a way to switch back. X gets a submission hold on Euforia but the rudo ref just knocks him off. X does  an inverted 'rana but gets a slow two count. The ref gets kicked accidentally by Euforia, and X gets a camel clutch on him, he gives, but no ref. Euforia then low blows X, X low blows him, and goes for a pin, but a friend on X's counted the pin not the ref. Salazar then unmasks X, and the real ref comes to and counts the pin as Euforia pins X.

Lord Byron, Ramses, Kaentai                vs
Iron, Dranser, Scravos

1 Fall:  I can't call the action, because I don't know any of these guys and couldn't tell who was who. One partner of each team was hand cuffed outside the ring to the corner with the key hidden behind each corners turnbuckle. Iron and Ramses were the hand cuffed guys. There was a double tope by Dranser and Scravos. Dranser got the key and gave it to Iron but he still needed the refs help in uncuffing himself. Iron did a black hole slam on someone. A pyramid was built in the corner with everyone with everyone going over. Ramses was given his key but he too needed the refs help in getting free. Iron put his team mates on top of their foes and got the pins.

Zorro, Mesias                      vs                     Cibernetico, Charly Manson

1st Fall:  Zorro and Mesias were listed as tecnicos. Was that mistake or not? This was picked with Mesias team in beat down mode. Zorro locks on the Texas Cloverleaf on Ciber but Ciber made the ropes. Mesias slams Charly in the aisle. Zorro and Mesias pin Charly. Then they pin Ciber.

2nd Fall:  Zorro comes from the back with board or tray of some kind. He hits Charly and Ciber with it. The ref was Salazar. Mesias and Zorro have some trouble getting along all match long. Ciber and Charly get a come back at last. Ciber hits a choke slam and pins Zorro. Ciber gets the board and hits Zorro with it, Mesias avoids it and Ciber.

3rd Fall:  Zorro and Charly trade moves. The match slows down with a lot of stalling for a long while with nothing much happening. Mesias catapults Ciber into a kendo stick shot by Zorro. Mesias and Zorro have more trouble getting along. Charly pushes Mesias into Zorro from behind. However Mesias wraps up Charly for a pin attempt, but Zorro pulls him off and Zorro and Mesias start to fight. Just then La Secta intervene and attack Zorro. Cuervo, Scoria and Ozz. Eventually Mesias tells them leave, and they do. Just then Ciber wraps up Mesias into a small package and pins him for the win.

That ended this show. The main was the best match of the three.

Electrico did a tope con hijo on Mini Damian. Shockercito did a moonsault outsided on Fire. Aguilita did a plancha outside on Celestial. Electrico comes off the top rope attempting a 'rana but Mini Damian catches him and power bombs him and pins him for the win.   Great Match!!!!

Alex does a cross body on Virus. Volador does a huricanrana and pins Virus. Koslov does a STF and submits Ephesto.

2nd Fall:  Sagrado and Ephesto start this off. Sagrado puts his moves on all 3 rudos. Koslov does likewise. Koslov did a enzuigiri on Misty then did his little Russian dance, that spurred the rudos to go into thier beat down. His partners spring board Ephesto onto Koslov and they pinned him. They pinned Sagrado after a running Virus kick.

3rd Fall:  The rudos are still doing thier beat down at least for a couple of minutes until the good guys start a come back. However en route to topes the rudos trip all 3 tecs. Volador did a splash on Virus. Koslov did a 'rana on Misty but Ephesto kicked him off. The advantage swings back and forth several times. Koslov did a plancha outside on Ephesto. Hector holds Texano and Terrible for Marco to do his running cross body to them from the ramp to the ring. Hector adds a moonsault and they pin them both.

2nd Fall:  Hector and Terrible start this off. Hector puts his moves on all 3. As does Sombra. Damian and Marco square off, he was too short so he stands on Terrible for height, but Marco kicked him off. Marco did a flying clothesline to Terrible. Marco did a cross body to Terrible but when Marco jumped Terrible low blowed him and was Disqualified. Tecs win in two straight.

That wraps up this show. I liked it, it was pretty good. I'm not gonna review the CMLL/FSE show from sunday since because of soccer it was the edited down version. I'll wait til they show the full version.

Llaves y Candados Show for March 15, '08

Llaves y Candados Show
The show that aired on March 15, 2008.

I found the stream for this show. I think it was Tim who posted the link for the JLC media player on thecubsfan blog. There it had a bunch of stream sites one of them was the Multimedios stream which carries this show on Saturday Nights at around 10 pm an hour later for us. I didn't actually stay up to watch it, I copied and pasted the stream link onto Real Player 11, which worked, I turned it on at about 9 pm and hit record which has a four hour recording window. I checked on Sunday Morning and sure enough after fast forwarding there it was.

Can I be the lucha libre stream king? I think I found just about all of them out there. XEJ, Caneda Tres, the better and stronger feed for that show on Canal 44, and now this. Hey, I'm always looking, if there's one out there, by gum, I'll find it. You pretty much need the JLC media player for this stream, but like I said, I copied and pasted it onto Real Player.

This show is from Arena Coliseo Monterrey, Mexico. One hour, but I'll take this over AAA any day.  They squeeze a lot into one hour, no interviews.

Red Flamer, Dr. Tormenta, Angel Negro vs
Corazon Adicto, Aguila Azteca, Aguila Real

1st Fall:  Red Flamer? I wonder if he has T-Shirts? His custome isn't red by the way. Azteca and Negro start it off, wrestling around. Then Corazon and Flamer go at it. The Real and Dr. T wrestle. Corazon does a Code Red on Dr. T and pins him.

2nd Fall:  The rudos go into a beat down as this fall starts. Negro did a super plex to Azteca. Flamer did a crucifix hold on Corazon and submitted him. Negro submits Azteca.

3rd Fall:  Corazon and Flamer fight all over ringside. Azteca had a submission hold on Dr. T when the rudo ref just pulled him off. Flamer did a suplex to Azteca but Corazon broke up the pin. Corazon had Dr. T into a abdominal stretch when Dr. T came in and seem to kick both of them. Real did a tope then he did a plancha outside that missed completely. Azteca did a tope on Negro. Corazon submits Flamer to an arm bar and that ends it.

Hurican Ramirez, Hurican Ramirez Jr., Ultraman Jr.   vs
Chacho Herodes, Karonte, Espaanto Jr.

1st Fall:  HR jr. and Karonte start it off. Huricane Jr. had a leg lock that was broken up by Espanto Jr. Espanto and Ultraman Jr. go at it next. Espanto does a back slide for a 2 count. Herodes and Huricane Sr. go at then, Herodes is big and fat. Herodes is soon replaced by Karonte, he and Sr. go at it slowly for a while. The rudos attack Huricane Sr., Ultraman Jr. does a double hand spring back elbow to Karonte and Espanto, then a double missile drop kick to them. Then Huricane Jr. and Ultraman Jr. to topes to them. Huricane Sr. pins Herodes with a Majistral Cradle.

2nd Fall:  The rudos go into a beat down of the good guys. They stomp HR jr., Karonte unlaces Huricane Jr.'s mask. Herodes is twisting the head of Huricane Sr., they try to unmask Ultraman Jr., Huricane Sr. submits to the head twisting of Herodes. Espanto submits Ultraman Jr. to a standing figure four. The rudos won this fall. Between falls Espanto brought a crying kid into the ring. No idea why.

3rd Fall:  They all brawl outside for a while. Huricane Jr. does a Frankensteiner to Espanto, followed by Ultraman Jr. doing a splash to him. They trade moves for awhile back and forth. Espanto topes Ultraman Jr. Huricane Jr. splashes Herodes, who rolled through it. Huricane Jr. did another splash but the ref was elsewhere, so Herodes low blow kicks him, and the ref returns in time to count the pin. Rudos win.

Hator, Estrella Dorada Jr., Monje Negro Jr.   vs
Simbolo, Golden Boy, Rey Demonio Jr.

1st Fall:  All 6 are fighting inside the ring at the same time. The rudos' Hator's team are putting a beating on the good guys, when the good guys make a quick come back and submit all 3 rudos to a 3 on 3 group submission hold.

2nd Fall:  Pretty much more of the same with all 6 fighting at the same time. Dorada and Simbolo are fighting all over the ringside area. Golden Boy gets crotched on the post. They gang kick Demonio in the corner. They beat up and pin Simbolo. Hator does an overhead release power bomb to Golden Boy, followed by Dorado doing a splash to him. Golden is then pinned.

3rd Fall:  The rudo beat down goes on  a few more minutes until the good guys make a come back. They fight outside again for a while. The tecnicos launch a beat down of their own. Golden Boy does a tope con jiro to Hator. Monje does a tope to Simbolo, Demonio does a plancha to the group outside. Dorada does a tope to someone. Golden Boy and Hator are fighting inside the ring when Hator does a low blow mule kick to him and pins him for the win.

And that ends that. Like I said they squeeze a lot into an hour. It wasn't that bad.

CMLL on FSE for March 9, '08.

CMLL on Fox Sports Espanol
For the show that aired on March 9, '08

The show started 8 minutes late due to Soccer. Olimpico and Valiente do promos on each other.

Debajo Del Ring with LA Park, he was wearing a black mask, and getting dressed, he says he always puts some salve his knees. He said his trip to the top wasn't easy, many times he slept outside and had nothing to eat, was tempted to go home, but he didn't quit, telling himself it will get easier someday. Ephesto pinned him.

The trivia question was who is Mascara Purpura the son of?

They asked Park where his dance came from, he admitted he was wrestler one of the Dinamites, and he started no selling their offense and started dancing. (I like an honest answer.)

Purpura's dad is Mario Segura, El Topeteador Del Norte. Is he related to Mickey?

Aguila gets a small package on Rey and pins him for the win. Aguila had a hold of the ropes. Rey said after Los Perros got cheap wins on both falls and wanted a title match. Perro offered him one more fall between him and Aguila. Rey however didn't bite on it. Perro said Los Guereros want to be tecnicos now, but they still can't beat us.

After they showed scenes from the press conference, an exchange between Hector Garza and Perro Jr., and a few words from Mistico who was under the impression he was having a single match.

And that wrapped up this show, like I said, I enjoyed this show, it's a lot more fun than AAA. And I'll continue reviewing it if my computer holds together. The first two matches were the best of the four. my email is at blue_demon2003@yahoo.com
