AAA Galavision for April 16, 2005

Galavision Lucha Libre Report
For the show that aired on April 16th, 2005.
This was not the second half of the Japan show highlights, but it was a 2 hr. AAA show.

AAA:

Crazy Loco, Kaiser, & Spawn vs Reno, Manimal, & Piolin.

1 Fall: The first two matches featured newbies. Spawn and Piolin start things off by exchanging some fast moves. Piolin gave him a flying head scissors. Before too long the rudos (Loco's team) are putting a beating on the newbie tecnico team(Reno's team). Piolin does a plancha on Loco, and Reno follows with one of his own, then Manimal. Manimal pins Loco, then Reno does a sunset flip and pins Kaiser. Piolin does a plancha to the outside to Spawn. Newbie tecnicos win.

Diluvio Negro, Junior Kiss vs Baby Rocker & Blackfinder.

1 Fall: Not sure I got the names right, difficult to understand the commentators sometimes when it comes to names.
They exchange some fast moves, armdrags, flying head scissors, a few holds. Blackfinder does a tope, but both rudos catch him and slam him. Both Rocker and Blackfinder to topes to the outside. Diluvio and Jr. seem to have trouble getting along, pushing and shoving. Junior went up to the top rope, but his partner Diluvio deliberately knocked him off of it. Diluvio pinned Blackfinder, but Rocker pinned Junior. Rocker then did a Gory Bomb and pinned Diluvio. Newbie tecnicos win. Diluvio and Junior came to blows afterward.

Tinieblas Jr. is interviewed. He says he has always been serious and dedicated but he had a talk with Cibernetico and decided everthing can be negotiated. He says he is content and has no trouble sleeping at night because of his decision. He says he went to LLL because he wants to be a star and they can do that for him. He says his father doesn't know, but he'll find out. He says whether tecnico or rudo he's still the best.

La Hechicera, La Chola, & Princessa Sujei vs Faby Apache, Lady Apache & Princessa Blanca.

1 Fall: Faby gives Chola a DDT. Lady fights off all 3 rudas, capping it off by a double flying head scissors move on Hechicera & Sujei. Hechicera accidently does a bonzai drop on Chola. Blanca does a huricanaran on Chola who was sitting on the top rope. Blanca does a tornado DDT on Hechicera on the outside. Sujei does a standing senton and drops elbows on Blanca. Hechicera does a Stinger Splash on Blanca in the corner, and Chola gives her a facebuster. They toss Lady off the top rope, and Hechicera splashes her from the second rope. Chola and Sujei give Blanca a 2 on 1 suplex. Lady gives Chola and Sujei DDT's at the same time. Lady and Faby give Sujei a 2 on 1 torture rack backbreaker, then a slam out of that. Faby does a missile drop kick to Chola who was being held by Faby's teammates. Lady gave Sujei another torture rack, but Sujei rolled through it for a pin, but Blanca broke it up. Sujei gave Blanca a clothesline and an elbow, but only got a 2 count. Blanca on a criss cross power bombs Sujei, but another near pin, Hechicera broke it up. Hechicera power bombs Blanca but Faby stopped the pin. Faby DDT's Hechicera for another near pin. Faby power bombed Chola for yet another near pin. Chola puts Faby on her shoulders and Sujei came off the top rope trying to connect with a press, but Faby ducked and Sujei missed. Blanca likewise missed a plancha on Sujei. Hechicera also missed a plancha, and Lady gave her a missile drop kick and tope outside. Tiffany showed up at this point and nailed Lady in the back with a steel chair. Chola does a plancha outside to Blanca. Sujei does a facebuster to Faby. Faby counters with a backslide but only got a 2 count. Faby missed a plancha when Sujei moved. Sujei power bombs Faby and gave her a Death Valley Driver and pinned her this time for the 3 count. Hechicera does a splash and pins Blanca. Tiffany was still beating up Lady outside. Rudas win!

Chessman, Cuervo, & Monster with Chuky vs Gronda, Tinieblas Jr. & Alebrije with Cuije.

1 Fall: This is the same match that aired just 2 weeks ago. Not going to do this again. On a repeat viewing, the rudos still won.

Anibal Jr. is interviewed: He says he has come to AAA to make a name for himself and prove he is worthy of his father's legendary name. He says he will not let the name down. He says when he was young he was small and skinny but determined to earn the right to the Anibal name. He says he is at the point of his life where he wants to reach the top and prove himself worthy to everybody.

CAGE MATCH:
Anibal Jr., Oriental, Intocable vs Psicosis(AAA version), Histeria, & Tokyo Viper.

The action is fast and frenetic as everyone is fighting at the same time. Last one left in loses for his side. All 3 tecnico try to leave early but are stopped. They tie Anibal and Intocable to Trees of Woe in the corners. And proceed to beat up on Oriental together. Intocable gets out, but Anibal has his foot stuck between the cage walls and just hangs there a long time. They toss Intocable off the top rope and give him a triple kick. Psicosis hits the helpless Anibal with a steel chair several times, and finally Anibal gets loose. Los Vipers are giving out chair shots to all the tecnicos. Psicosis gets on the top rope with the chiar, and comes off the top rope onto Anibal doing a guillotine leg drop holding the chair beneath him. Oriental mounts a comeback. Doing a huricanrana on Tokyo Viper, and armdrags to the others. Anibal flips Oriental over him, and Oriental lands on the cage wall and climbs out quickly. Histeria likewise leaves the cage. Intocable tried to leave but was stopped by Tokyo Viper. While Psicosis and Tokyo Viper are working on Anibal in the corner, Intocable runs up and climbs over them and climbs the cage and leaves. Tokyo Viper hits Anibal with the chair, and rips open his mask. Another chiar shot and Anibal is soon bleeding. Tokyo Viper is on the top rope, telling Psicosis to drag Anibal a little farther, a little farther, when they are on the opposite side of the ring, Tokyo Viper turns and climbs out of the cage. Anibal tries to mount a comeback, doing topes and a Gory Bomb to Psicosis. But as Anibal tries to climb out, Abismo Negro comes out and climbs up and sprays fire into Anibal's face. Knocking Anibal back inside. Psicosis then leaves the cage, winning the match for Los Vipers! The tecnicos take another whoopin' as Los Vipers leave.

Pretty good cage match as cage matches go. And the women's match was also very good. And that wraps up this show. Have a good week. I can be reached at blue_demon2003@yahoo.com
