AAA Galavision for April 23, 2005

Galavision Lucha Libre Report
For the show that aired on April 23rd, 2005.
This was the 6th week of AAA. Still no CMLL.

AAA:

Reyna De Reynas Tournament: Featured 14 Luchadoras:
Lady Apache, Tiffany, Simply Lucious, Golden Girl, Nikki Roxx, Estrelita, Princessa Blanca, Faby Apache, Cinthia Moreno, Martha Villalobos, Dark Angel, Princessa Sujei, La Chola, Poly Star.

This took the form of a Battle Royal, everybody was in the ring at the same time, just getting tossed out got them eliminated. It was abit difficult keeping track of who got eliminated when. Nikki got ganged up on by both Apache girls, then got stomped by Martha. Dark Angel gets beaten on by Lady then by Chola. Martha was biting Estrelita. Cinthia was working on Sujei's arm. Martha did a few 2nd rope splashes on a few of the girls. La Chola was out first. Golden Girl was tossed out by Blanca. Cinthia did a top rope stomach stomp on Sujei. Blanca is tossed out by Martha. Nikki is kicked out by Faby. Dark Angel is kicked out by both Apache girls. Sujei is tossed out. It came down to Martha, Faby, Lady, & Cinthia. Cinthia did an Oklahoma roll on Faby. But Faby and Cinthia took each other out while fighting. Martha punches Lady and Tiffany. But they gang up on her. Martha tried another splash but missed Lady. And Martha is kicked out by both Lady and Tiffany, who will meet later in the final to the tourney for the Reynas title.

Exotico's Cage Hair Match:
Sexy Libra, Rosa Blanca, Sexy Francis vs Polvo De Estrelas, May Flowers, & Pimpinella Escarlotta.

Ridiculous train wreck of a match. No action, just alot of slapping. Pimpi and May try to leave right away but are pulled back in. At various points other Exticos try to leave but are pulled back in. Sexy Libra is the first out. Polvo is out next. Blanca is out next. Then May leaves. Francis does a missile drop kick on Pimpi, then drops an elbow on him and leaves. Pimpi loses the match and his hair. Awful.

Final for the Reyna De Reynas Championship:
Tiffany vs Lady Apache.

1 Fall: Before the match started, Athor shows up with a ringside ticket, even though he wasn't scheduled to wrestle. He hugs Tiffany and presents her with a cake, it's her birthday. The ref is late, finally coming out is rudo ref. Copetes Salazar. Lady gives her a flying head scissors then a springboard drop kick. Lady then hits a backslide on her, but Salazar slow counts it. Lady then did a fisherman suplex, but Tiffany kicked out at 2. Lady does a tapatia on Tiffany. Then Lady did a top rope sunset flip on her, but another slow count. Outside, Salazar holds Lady for Tiffany, Tiffany gets the cake and throws it at her, but Lady moves and cake hit Salazar. Back inside, Lady does a missile drop kick on Tiffany. Salazar is still outside smeared with cake when Athor comes over while Lady is on the top rope and punches her a couple of times. Tiffany suplex's her off the top rope and pins her for the win and the Reyna Championship. The ruda women from the tourney come out to congratulate Tiffany. The rest of the women come out to console Lady. Pretty good match.

News:
Tiffany is interviewed: She says, she knew she was gonna win because she's the best. And that she won fairly, and she intends to hold the belt a long time.
They show a clips of Chessman wrestling El Gayo Sudeno for the Latin American Title.
They show clips of Jerry Estrada being wheeled down to the ring in a wheelchair by Los Vatos. The commentators wish him a speedy recovery.
They show extended clips of the Luchador of the Year awards and La Parka Jr. winning for the 4th straight time. He displays all 4 trophy's.
They announce Heavy Metal is no longer with the company because of differences with Antonio Pena. They say, Heavy like Rey Mysterio Jr, and HIjo Del Perro Aquayo who were born in AAA, Heavy has to follow his own path and they wish him well. Nice send off.

This match was from Tokyo's Karukeun Hall:
Black Family: Ozz, Scoria, & Cuervo vs Barrio Boys: Decnis, Alan, & Billy Boy.

1 Fall: Ozz gives Alan a rock bottom. Ozz and Scoria do dual standing moonsaults on him. Billy Boy does a 619 on Ozz. Alan does a huricanrana from the top rope on Cuervo. Alan and Decnis work on Scoria together for a while. Until all 3 Black Family members work on Alan. Ozz and Scoria give Alan a combination face buster/diamond cutter move. Scoria does a corkscrew tope on Alan and Decnis. Cuervo flipped Billy Boy into a drop kick by Ozz. Then Ozz gives him a corkscrew tope outside. Cuervo locks Decnis into the crippler crossface. But Decnis makes the ropes. All 3 Barrios give Scoria a gang face buster. Ozz and Alan put on some nice moves. Billy Boy also put on some good moves. His team mates using thier skateboard flip Billy Boy over the top rope into a huricanrana on Cuervo outside nice move. Alan does a corkscrew tope on Ozz. Scoria does a F-5 on Decnis for a near fall. Decnis then gets Scoria into a airplane spin like move and submits him. The Barrio Boys win. Very good match.

However they end the show with the AAA girls doing a very strange dance number in the ring at Karukeun Hall. Not Describeable. One of the girls had a sword with the english lyrics telling the crowd to dance with the devil. Wierd Ending.
