CMLL Galavision for June 25, 2005

For the show that aired on June 25, 2005
A CMLL show, from 1/8/05. Almost 6 months behind now. But a very good show. The show started 7 minutes late.

Torneo Cibernetico:
Group A: Felino, Virus, Tigre Blanco, Nitro, Dr. X. Group B: Averno, Mephisto, Maximo, Tigre Metalico, La Mascara.

Two fought at a time, usually for only a few minutes maybe less, eliminations via pinfall or submissions. Virus vs Maximo was mostly comedy, they tagged out to Tigre Blanco vs Tigre Metalico, who exchanged kicks. Nitro vs La Mascara, Mascara gave him a flying head scissors. Now Maximo vs Tigre Blanco, Maximo chops him, Tigre monkey flips him. Tigre kicked him in the stomach and gave him a Death Valley Driver and pinned him. Maximo is 1st gone. Averno vs Felino, Felino locks on a camel clutch but Averno got out. Averno got one of his own, they kept reversing it back and forth. Tigre Blanco vs Tigre Metalico, Blanco gave him a stomach breaker for a near fall. Then a clothesline. Metalico then did a nice spin into a small package and pinned Blanco. Tigre Blanco is gone. Tigre Metalico vs Dr. X, X power bombs him and drops an elbow on him for a near fall. Then X locks on a submission hold, and Metalico gave up. Tigre Metalico is gone. Dr. X vs La Mascara, Mascara puts X into a La Campana and submits him. Dr. X is gone. La Mascara vs Nitro, Nitro soon puts Mascara into a Boston crab and submits him, La Mascara is gone. Mephisto vs Virus, Mephisto is throwing Virus around by the hair, he tags out to Averno, Virus armdrags him alot and gets a near fall. Virus rushes Averno in the corner and jumps up on the top rope then jumped backward into a huricanrana on Averno for a near fall. Averno then hit his face first suplex and pinned Virus. Virus is gone. Averno vs Nitro, they exchange a few near falls back and forth. They then collide in the middle of the ring and collaspe. Mephisto and Felino then rush in and pin them both together. Averno and Nitro are gone. Mephisto vs Felino, After a minute or so, Felino got on a version of the figure four and submitted Mephisto. Felino is the winner! I thought this was good.

Volador Jr, Sagrado, Alan Stone vs Arkangel De La Muerte, Sangre Azteca, Mr. Mexico.

1st Fall: Sagrado and Mexico start things off, exchanging holds and moves. Sagrado gets a leg lock on him, Mexico reverses it. Sagrado reverses that into a Tapatia. But Arkangel breaks it up. Sagrado get on a camel clutch but Mexico got out. Alan does a springboard flying head scissors on Arkangel. Sagrado missed a few moves, one to Mexico one to Azteca. Sagrado climbs up top, but Arkangel knocks him out of the ring. Arkangel does a top rope plancha to Sagrado outside. Volador finally gets in the ring for the first time, but when he flies over the top rope, Azteca drop kicks him and pins him. Mexico power boms and pins Stone.

2nd Fall: The rudos are beating down the tecnicos. Mexico put Volador on the top rope and Axteca gave him a huricanrana from there. Stone does a missile drop kick to Arkangel. Then he does a pescado to him. Azteca dangling off the second rope, Volador gives him a leg drop and pins him. Sagrado does a sunset flip and pins Mexico.

3rd Fall: Volador and Arkangel exchange some fast moves. Then some with Azteca. Difficult to describe but good. Mexico suplex's Stone for a near fall. Stone backdrops him for a near fall. There were about a dozen near falls back and forth between these two. Volador then does a moonsault outside to Azteca. Mexico throws Stone into the corner but Stone flies through it and topes Arkangel. Stone then does a nice spring board moonsault and pins Mexico. Alan Stone, Sagrado, Volador win. Very Good Match.

Momentos Estellares: Rayo Tapatio 2 topeing Caligula; Rayo Tapatio 1 pinning Koreano; Pegueno Olimpico submitting Sombrita; Starman and Neutron doing pescados to Super Commando and Ramstein; Loco Max low blowing and pinning Zumbido; Mistico doing that nice move, jumping off the top rope and connecting with a torneo armdrag on Ultimo Guerrero.

Black Tiger, Shegeo Okumura, Damian El Terrible vs Brazo De Plata, Negro Casas, & Super Parka.

1st Fall: One of Super Parka's rare apperances for this company. It starts with Parka and Terrible exchanging moves. Then it moves on to Porky and Okumura, Okumura is to move him or do anything with him. Then it's Tiger and Casas, On a criss cross Casas clotheslines him. Casas went for a DDT, but Tiger didn't go down for it. Casas then does his Casita(Majistral) and pins Tiger. Porky sits down on and pins Okumura, Parka does a senton and pins Terrible.

2nd Fall: There was a gorgeous ring card girl who came out holding the 2nd Fall sign, everybody stopped what they were doing and just stared at her. Okumura was biting Casas, and Casas was biting back. Okumura clotheslines him, and the rudos explode into beat down mode. Putting a beating on the tecnicos. Tiger does a swanton bomb on Parka. Terrible suplex's Casas back into the ring. Okumura does a missile drop kick to Casas. The 3 of them put on a gang submission hold on Casas and submit him. Terrible actually picks up and slams Porky. Tiger gave him a flip over leg drop. Okumura does a senton to him and they pin him together.

3rd Fall: Okumura DDT's Parka. Tiger did a 619 to Parka but he kicked out at 2. But Porky starts the comeback, bumping them around. Casas follows Tiger up the ramp and climbs the ringside barrier and comes down on him with fist twice. Porky is biting Terrible then headbutting him. Parka topes Okumura. Sitting Tiger down in the corner, Casas then does his running face kick to him. Tiger then low blows Casas and the ref DQ's him. Casas, Plata, Parka win! While Casas was writhing around in pain selling the low blow, Porky went and got a bag, and gave Casas a hamburger. Hilarious! Good Match.

Atlantis, Mistico, Blue Panther vs Tarzan Boy, Rey Bucanero, Olimpico.

1st Fall: Panther and Tarzan start things off, exchanging moves. Tarzan gets on a reverse chin lock, an abdominal stretch, then a head scissors, but Panther got out. Then Mistico and Olimpico, Mistico flipping backward into the ring. Olimpico gave him a rock bottom. Then it was Atlantis vs Rey, very quickly Atlantis got him in a torture rack back breaker and Rey gives up.

2nd Fall: That same ring card girl came out, the same thing happened, everybody stopped and just stared at her. Rey did go after her and kiss her. Olimpico slaps Mistico. Then while Olimpico is doing the Guerrero war cry, Mistico jumps of the top rope and connects with a missile drop kick to the back of Olimpico's neck. (that move seems incredibly dangerous). He then does a 619 to him under the bottom rope with Olimpico outside. Mistico did a moonsault to Tarzan but Tarzan caught him, but Mistico armdragged him. Atlantis clotheslines Rey. Los Guerreros go into beat down mode and beat up Atlantis, submitting him together.

3rd Fall: Between falls they unlaced Atlantis' mask. they showed a couple of what looked blond American girls in the stands, the commentator Alphonso Morales said, they must have come here hoping to see Latin Lover. An Olimpico/Mistico botched move. They all beat up Mistico and tear his mask open. Blue Panther topes Rey, Mistico does his torneo armdrag on Olimpico but Tarzan came in and breaks it up. Mistico does it again, but this time to Tarzan and Tarzan gave up. Atlantis had Rey in an abdominal stretch, but Panther did a sunset flip and pinning Olimpico, but Tarzan from outside the ring, rolled them over with Olimpico pinning Panther, and holding onto to Olimpico for the 3 count. Rey then low blows Atlantis and submits him to a crippler crossface. Los Guerreros win. Very Good Match! After the commercial, Rey was in the audience kissing more girls, (that guys a hound). Olimpico challenged Atlantis and Panther for a shot at thier tag titles.
