Galavision Lucha Libre Report
For the show that aired on May 21, 2005.
Yes, the 10th Straight week of AAA. This was the Rey de Reyes show that featured Jeff Jarrett.

AAA:

Tiffany, La Diabolica, & Princessa Sugeith vs Lady Apache, Faby Apache, & Princessa Blanca.

1 Fall: Blanca and Sugeith started things off exchanging moves. Lady put Sugeith in a torture rack, but Sugeith rolled through it into a pin, but Faby broke it up. Blanca did a plancha on Tiffany. Lady did a tarantula on Diabolica, but Tiffany broke it up. The rudas took control doing a beat down on the Tecnicas. Blanca missed a plancha when Diabolica moved. Tiffany did a missile drop in Blanca. Lady did a plancha on Tiffany. Not that easy to see, they kept cutting to long bleacher shots. Faby missed a plancha on Diabolica. But Blanca connects. Lady did a tope on Tiffany. Diabolica tried to flip Sugeith unto a plancha on the group outside, but Sugeith hit the top rope and just fell over. Diabolica did a tope, Faby did a torneo tope to the group outside. Tiffany flipped Blanca from the top rope into a power bomb inside the ring. Tiffany pinned her and rudo ref Piro did a fast 3 count. Faby did a double underhook facebuster power bomb on Sugeith and pinned her also. Lady tried a missile drop kick on Diabolica while Faby was holding her but Diabolica moved and Lady connected with Faby. Diabolica was beating on Lady but Tiffany pulled her away by the hair and took over. On a criss cross Tiffany tripped Diabolica and pulled her out of the ring and they brawl outside. Lady likewise got involved in the brawl, while this was going on everybody got counted out of the ring for a Draw! Lady Tiffany and Diabolica continued to brawl outside. Pretty good.

And now for something completely different.
A shoot kickboxing match:
Ty Landez vs Humberto Galanez Gabuz

Round 1: 3 two minute rounds. I don't feel qualified to review or judge a kickboxing match, but what the heck. Rd. 1 these guys were mostly feeling out each other. Both guys throwing kicks and punches. Landez connected with a backfist and a quick kick. Landez was throwing more effective punches than Gabuz, with follow ups. I'd give this round to Landez.
Round 2: Gabuz tried to get untracked and came out punching. But Landez' punches were stronger and more effective. Landez floored him with a right uppercut and a straight left. Gabuz got up at 8 and the fight continued. Landez built like a fire plug didn't seem to feel Gabuz' punches. But Gabuz could feel his. But as this round ended I'd give it to Landez also.
Round 3: In trying to land a big kick on Landez, Gabuz fell down. Not sure if this counted. Both guys were throwing some big punches and kicks. Gabuz did connect some good punches. Landez got a busted nose via a punch he walked into. Gabuz tried to throw a big spin kick but missed and fell down. That seemed to end it. Mayby the 3 fall down rule was in effect. In any event, Landez won the match, he deserved to.

Now back to lucha libre: Intocable was interviewed, he said, he wrestles with his heart, and is very grateful for the support of his fans. He says this is the year he finishes with Mr. Aquila. And he fears no one.

Mr. Aquila, Hator, & Tinieblas Jr. vs Intocable, El Zorro, & Anibal Jr.

1 Fall: This seemed to be a no DQ match. As Intocable made his entrance Aquila came running up with a ladder and hit him with it. Zorro came out with his kendo stick to help him out, hitting Hator with it. Anibal throws Tinieblas into the ringside table. Zorro power bombed Hator onto the table and it broke. Anibal tried to unmask Tinieblas. Anibal hit Hator with the stick. Anibal accidently hit Zorro with it also. Tinieblas rips open Anibal's mask. Hator power bombs Zorro onto another table and it broke. Aquila body slams Intocable into the ladder set up in the corner and it broke also. Aquila and Tinieblas punish Anibal with the stick. Aquila ties Intocable unto the tree of woe, but misses the running kick when Intocable moves. Intocable bulldogs Aquila with a jump off the top rope. Intocable clotheslines Aquila into ringside. Anibal throws Tinieblas unto another table and it breaks. Zorro superkicks Hator. Zorro flips Intocable unto a plancha on Hator. Aquila tried a plancha outside, but Zorro and Intocable catch him and throw him backward at least 3 rolls deep into ringside. Those poor fans. Tinieblas took off his own mask and throws it Anibal but Anibal threw it back to him. Zorro and Anibal hold Tinieblas down while Intocable came off the ropes with a springboard splash and they pinned him for the win.
In a backstage bit, Konnan and Cibernetico have some guy tied to a chair, with a hood over his head, saying they a surprise for everyone later tonight. They take off the hood and it's Psicosis(The original).

Abismo Negro & Chessman vs Jeff Jarrett & Konnan vs Latin Lover & La Parka Jr.

1 Fall: Jeff Jarrett came out throwing tortillas to the crowd and they were throwing them back. Jarrett did his best Flair strut and played along with Parka's comedy. He seemed to be having a good time. Jarrett traded punches with Latin for a while. Abismo and Chessman gang up on Latin then on Parka. They tended to ignore this match for long periods of time. At one point they cut to a phone call at ringside, it was Cibernetico saying he was out of prison, I didn't know he was in prison. The 4 rudos are now punishing Latin and Parka. Latin was gonna suplex Konnan off the top rope but Konnan held on to it. At this point Psicosis came out the original wearing his old mask and attacked Latin. The ref. DQ's Jarrett and Konnan, giving this win to Latin and Parka, the match continued without them. Latin and Parka are making a comeback with a chair on Abismo and Chessman. The wrestling is largely ignored as it focused on Psicosis, and then on Cibernetico making his big entrance. Parka did a guillotine leg drop on Chessman. The rudo ref. slow counts when Latin has Abismo pinned. Cibernetico is at ringside with a spray can which he hands to Abismo, Abismo tries to spray fire at Latin but misses. Abismo missed a plancha and Latin does a magistral and pinned him for the 3 count. Psicosis attacks again. Cibernetico low blows Latin. Cibernetico beats up and pins Parka and the rudo ref raises his hand, but the tecnico ref raises Parka's hand. Then the AAA Psicosis comes out and removes Psicosis #1's mask revealing him to be Nicho. Then Antonio Pena comes out with a fleet of tecnicos and a massive brawl breaks out. In any event, Latin and Parka won it. And the two Psicosis' fight all the way to the stage.

Next Week: Octagoncito vs Mini Psicosis in a mask vs mask match; and Gronda, Alebrije, Electroshock vs Charly Manson, Monster, & Picudo. And that wrapped up this week's show. Have a good week. I can be reached at blue_demon2003@yahoo.com
